This cheat works on PC, XBOX One, PS4 and the Nintendo Switch.
Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.
Spawn Using Animal Name
To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [441]. You will then receive the Explosive Ammo item.
Spawn Using Character Name
Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.
However, if you opt for this method, name your character [441]while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Explosive Ammo item.

Explosive Ammo is a one-time use item that damages anything within its explosion radius. Unlike other explosive items, it must be used with a slingshot.
The Explosive Ammo crafting recipe is unlocked at Combat Level 8. For each time it's crafted, the player will get 5 pieces of Explosive Ammo. After the recipe is unlocked, it can be purchased from the Adventurer's Guild for 300g each.
To equip a slingshot with explosive ammo, select the ammo, then Right-Click on the slingshot.
Ammo will detonate when it hits an enemy, the wall of a cave, a ladder, or water. Otherwise, it will pass straight through other objects, such as rocks or plants.
