The Straw Floor is a crafted decor item. It is used to create decorative paths on the farm. It can be displaced by lightning.

The Straw Floor recipe is sold at the Carpenter's Shop for 200g.

All types of flooring provide a +0.1 boost to Player Speed, but only if the flooring is located outside on The Farm. They also have the indirect benefit of preventing Grass or Trees from growing in heavily used areas, which would otherwise slow down or obstruct movement.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [401]. You will then receive the Straw Floor item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [401] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Straw Floor item.
