Squid Ink is an item which is dropped from Squid Kids in the Mines and Blue Squids in the Dangerous Mines. It can also be produced by Squids and Midnight Squids in Fish Ponds. It's used as an ingredient in clothing dye and tailoring. Elliott sells five Squid Inks in his shop at the Desert Festival for 30 Calico Eggs each.

It cannot be sold to the Adventurer's Guild. However, it can be sold to Willy at his Fish Shop. It must be shipped to complete the Shipping Collection.

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [814]. You will then receive the Tinta de Lula item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [814] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Tinta de Lula item.
