What day of the week is it in Stardew Valley?

Every season is exactly 28 days and day 1 is always a Monday, so the weekday repeats on the same dates every year. Day 1, 8, 15 and 22 are Mondays; day 7, 14, 21 and 28 are Sundays. This page works the weekday out from the date for you.

Why does rain change where everyone is?

Most villagers run a separate rainy-day routine, and it replaces their normal one for the whole day. A few have two rain routines and the game picks between them at random, so this page shows both instead of guessing.

Why is a villager somewhere different in my game?

Three things change a routine that this page cannot read from your save: whether the Community Center is restored, whether the bus and the railroad are open, and how many hearts you have with certain villagers. The first three are toggles here. Heart-gated routines are marked on the row.

Which villagers are missing?

The Dwarf, Krobus and the Wizard keep to one spot and have no daily routine. Emily only has a marriage routine recorded, which replaces her normal day once you marry her, so she cannot appear in a general lookup.
