The Cactus Fruit is found via foraging in the Calico Desert. It can also be bought at the Oasis on Tuesdays for 150g or randomly at the Traveling Cart for 225–1,000g. It can randomly be found in Garbage Cans after unlocking The Desert. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces one Cactus Fruit per year on Sam's birthday, Summer 17.

Cactus Fruit may also be grown from Cactus Seeds. Cactus Fruit grown from Cactus Seeds benefits from the Tiller Profession bonus.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [90]. You will then receive the Cactus Fruit item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [90] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Cactus Fruit item.
