The Missing

What each room unlocks

  • PantryGreenhouse

Restoring the Pantry repairs the farm Greenhouse. Once unlocked, you can plant any crop year-round inside it — no seasons, no winter dead-zone.

  • Crafts RoomBus to the Desert

Completing the Crafts Room repairs the Pelican Town bus stop. Pam starts driving again and the Desert becomes accessible for 500g per trip.

  • Fish TankGlittering Boulder removed

Restoring the Fish Tank removes the Glittering Boulder blocking the Mountain river. Doing so lets you fish in the upper Mountain stream and re-enables panning in waterways.

  • Boiler RoomMinecarts restored

The Boiler Room reward repairs the minecart network connecting Pelican Town, the Mines, the Bus Stop, and the Quarry — a major travel time-saver.

  • VaultQuarry bridge

Donating gold to the Vault rebuilds the bridge in the Mountain area, which unlocks the Quarry — a mining map with stone, iridium nodes, geodes, and the Statue of Perfection in late-game.

  • Bulletin BoardFriendship event at the Community Center

Completing the Bulletin Board triggers a townwide cutscene celebrating the restored Community Center. No new area, but it locks in the canonical Junimo ending.

  • Abandoned Joja MartMissing Bundle (Movie Theater)

The Missing Bundle in the abandoned JojaMart unlocks the Movie Theater on the north end of town — a recurring date/family activity with movie-snack gifts and friendship bonuses.

Joja Mart vs Community Center

When you first walk into JojaMart, Morris offers a 5,000g "Membership" that converts the Community Center into a JojaMart warehouse. From there, you can pay cash (25,000g–40,000g per Development Project) to unlock the same Valley repairs the Community Center route gives you for free. The trade-off: no Junimo ending, no community celebration, and Morris stays in town permanently. Most players run Community Center for the first playthrough and try the Joja route for variety later.

Frequently asked questions

How do I unlock the Community Center?
On any day after Spring 5 of Year 1, walk into the Community Center building (north of Pelican Town). After a short Junimo cutscene, Mayor Lewis takes you to the Wizard, who decodes the Junimo letters. From then on, you can donate items to the Bundle scrolls inside.
How many bundles are there in the Community Center?
31 bundles across 7 rooms in the Community Center, plus the Missing Bundle inside the Abandoned JojaMart. The Pantry, Crafts Room, Fish Tank, and Bulletin Board each have multiple themed bundles; the Boiler Room and Vault have fewer but each ties to a specific reward.
What do I get for completing the Community Center?
Each room repaired unlocks a permanent Valley change — Greenhouse, bus to the Desert, minecart network, Quarry bridge, and the removed Glittering Boulder. Completing all six core rooms triggers a celebration cutscene and the canonical 'Junimo ending' for that save.
Joja Mart route or Community Center route?
Community Center is the canonical playthrough most players choose: it preserves Pelican Town's small-town vibe, unlocks every Valley repair, and grants the Junimo ending. Joja Mart's membership route lets you pay through the same restorations for cash (35,000g per area), but you forfeit the Junimo ending and locks Morris out of leaving town.
Can I do both Joja and Community Center?
Not on the same save. Once you buy a Joja Membership, the Junimos disappear and the Bundle scrolls become unavailable. You can keep your existing item donations as a partial completion, but you'll need to start a new save to do the full Community Center route again.
What's the Missing Bundle?
The Missing Bundle is a special bundle in the abandoned JojaMart north of town — unlocked after you complete the regular Community Center. It requires 1 Wine, 5 Honey, 5 Caviar, 1 Ancient Fruit (Gold quality x5), and 1 Prismatic Shard. Reward: the Movie Theater opens on the JojaMart site.
Are bundles random?
Bundles are fixed in the base game (same items in every save), but the 1.5 update added a 'Remixed Bundles' option in advanced game settings that swaps several bundles for alternate versions on new saves. Most veteran players play with remixed off to use established bundle guides.
