Cinder Shard is a resource that can be obtained in the Volcano Dungeon by mining Cinder Shard nodes. It can also drop from a Magma Sprite, Magma Sparker, Magma Duggy, or False Magma Cap. It can also be acquired from a Stingray Fish Pond with a population of at least 7, or found in Skull Cavern treasure rooms after the Volcano Shortcut has been unlocked. It can also drop from Common or Rare Chests in the Volcano Dungeon.

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [848]. You will then receive the Cinder Shard item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.
