Coconut Information

The Coconut is an inedible Foraged Fruit found in the Calico Desert and by shaking palm trees on Ginger Island. It can also be bought at the Oasis on Mondays for 400g or may randomly appear in the Traveling Cart's stock for 300–1,000g. Sandy may also send one in the mail as a gift. It can also randomly be found in Garbage Cans after unlocking The Desert. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces one Coconut per year on Linus' birthday, Winter 3.

Although it is inedible, it may be put in a Preserves Jar to make Coconut Jelly, or in a Keg to make Coconut Wine. Coconuts cannot be planted to create Palm Trees.

The Island Trader will trade 1 Golden Coconut for 10 Coconuts, provided the player already previously found at least one Golden Coconut.

Coconut Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [88]. You will then receive the Coconut item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [88] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Coconut item.
