Daffodil Information

The Daffodil is found via foraging in the Spring, or grown from Spring Seeds. Up to ten can also be purchased from Pierre at the Flower Dance. Although it is a flower in its description (and in real life), the game classifies it as "Forage" and not "Flower." Up to five may be purchased from Evelyn's shop at the Desert Festival for 15 Calico Eggs each. It can randomly be found in Garbage Cans during Spring. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces one Daffodil per year on Sandy's birthday, Fall 15.

Daffodil Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [18]. You will then receive the Daffodil item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [18] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Daffodil item.
