The Emerald is a Mineral that can be obtained from Emerald Nodes and Gem Nodes in the Mines, from the green Gem Bird on Ginger Island during rainy days, from panning, or in Fishing Treasure Chests. It may occasionally be found in a Garbage Can after the player has reached the bottom of the mines. It can also be received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star. It has a 10% chance to be dropped by a slain Dwarvish Sentry in the Volcano Dungeon. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces an Emerald on the birthdays of Clint, Emily, and Penny.
Cheese may be purchased at the Desert Trader on Fridays in exchange for 1 Emerald.

Emerald Cheat Help
Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.
Spawn Using Animal Name
To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [60]. You will then receive the Emerald item.
Spawn Using Character Name
Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.
However, if you opt for this method, name your character [60] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Emerald item.
