The Frozen Geode is a Mineral deposit that contains minerals, artifacts, ores, or basic resources. It can be found on floors 41 to 79 of The Mines, on the farm in the Winter, or inside a Fishing Treasure Chest. It can also be received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star. An Ice Pip Fish Pond may produce 1 or 5 Frozen Geodes when the population of the pond reaches 9. Frozen Geodes can also be obtained by pickaxing Frozen Geode Nodes. These are found in the small quarry on the Hill-top Farm and Four Corners Farm. Sebastian sells Frozen Geodes in his shop at the Desert Festival for 10 Calico Eggs.

The Frozen Geode can be broken open by Clint in the Blacksmith shop for 25g or by using a Geode Crusher.

Frozen Geode Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [536]. You will then receive the Frozen Geode item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [536] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Frozen Geode item.
