The Golden Pumpkin is an item that can be obtained every other year during the Spirit's Eve Festival by completing the maze. It can also be found in Artifact Troves (3.7% chance), Mystery Boxes, and Golden Mystery Boxes.

It can be sold through the Shipping Bin for 2,500g (Pierre will not buy it). Despite its description, it has two other uses: it is a universally loved gift, and it can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create a Witch Hat. It can also serve as a yellow dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley's house.

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [373]. You will then receive the Golden Pumpkin item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [373] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Golden Pumpkin item.
