The Mummified Frog is an item that can be obtained by cutting weeds in the Ginger Island jungle or in the dangerous mines after completing the "Danger In The Deep" quest. Mummified frogs can only be found in the dangerous mines when cutting jungle type weeds (dark green shades). Jungle weeds normally have a 1% chance to drop a Mummified Frog, except for the first Mummified Frog found after unlocking the Island Field Office, which has a 10% chance instead.

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [828]. You will then receive the Mummified Frog item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [828] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Mummified Frog item.
