The Ornate Necklace is a special item that is unlocked after reading Secret Note #25. To find it, fish in the water outside the Spa during any season except Winter.

To give the Ornate Necklace, place it in the inventory. It does not need to be held as the game automatically tries to give it to any NPC that is spoken to thereafter. However, it can be received only by Caroline or Abigail. Trying to give it to anyone else fails, and results in a dialogue saying "Wrong Person". Make sure to speak first to the intended recipient, since transfer is automatic.

Giving the Ornate Necklace to Caroline awards 50 Friendship points with her. Giving the Ornate Necklace to Abigail awards 100 Friendship points with her.

Ornate Necklace Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [191]. You will then receive the Ornate Necklace item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [191] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Ornate Necklace item.
