Amethyst is a Mineral that can be obtained from Amethyst Nodes and Gem Nodes in the Mines, panning, or as a rare drop from Green Slimes. It may also occasionally be found in Fishing Treasure Chests or in a Garbage Can. It can also be obtained from the purple Gem Bird on Ginger Island during rainy days. A Super Cucumber Fish Pond may produce 1-3 Amethyst when the population of the pond reaches 9. It has a 10% chance to be dropped by a slain Dwarvish Sentry in the Volcano Dungeon. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces one Amethyst per year, on Abigail's birthday, Fall 13.

Amethyst Cheat Help
Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.
Spawn Using Animal Name
To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [66]. You will then receive the Amethyst item.
Spawn Using Character Name
Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.
However, if you opt for this method, name your character [66] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Amethyst item.
