The Bomb is a one-time use explosive item. It damages certain items within its radius. Other items are impervious to its effects.

Bombs can be crafted or purchased from the Dwarf (both in the Volcano Dungeon and The Mines) for 600g. They're also offered by the Desert Trader who will exchange five Quartz for one bomb. Bats, Lava Crabs, Squid Kids, and Serpents can also drop bombs when slain. Ten Bombs may occasionally be found in treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern. 3-5 Bombs may occasionally be found in Supply Crates on the Beach Farm provided the player has upgraded the Farmhouse exactly once. A Bomb may occasionally be obtained from the Traveling Cart for 150–1,000g.

Bomb Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [287]. You will then receive the Bomb item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [287] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Bomb item.
