Quartz Information

Quartz is a Mineral that can be found by foraging in The Mines and in Skull Cavern. It can also occasionally be found in Garbage Cans. Stone Golems have a 10% chance to drop Quartz when slain. A Ghostfish Fish Pond may produce 1 Quartz when the population reaches 3, and 3 Quartz when the population reaches 9. Quartz is a Mineral that can be found by foraging in The Mines or Quarry Mine and in Skull Cavern.

Quartz can be destroyed by bombs.

Quartz can be used along with 1 coal in a furnace to produce Refined Quartz, taking 1.5 in-game hours to smelt.

Quartz Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [80]. You will then receive the Quartz item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [80] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Quartz item.
