Burglar's Ring Information

The Burglar's Ring is a ring that can be obtained as a reward from Gil at the Adventurer's Guild after completing the Monster Eradication Goal of killing 500 Dust Sprites. After that, it can be purchased from Marlon for 20,000g.

With the Burglar's Ring equipped, Monsters will drop (on average) twice as much loot; the game will make two random rolls instead of one for each item in a monster's drop list. The effect does not stack with two Burglar's Rings equipped.

Burglar's Ring — Slayer Goal Reward

Gil at the Adventurer's Guild awards Burglar's Ring for slaying 500 Dust Sprite. Progress counts across the whole save — check the plaque next to Gil to see your kill totals.

Burglar's Ring Villager Gift Reactions

Give Burglar's Ring as a gift to build friendship. Each villager reacts differently — pick someone who loves it for the biggest friendship boost. Gifts given on a villager's birthday count 8× — a loved gift jumps from +80 to +640 friendship.

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [526]. You will then receive the Burglar's Ring item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [526] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Burglar's Ring item.
