Jade is a Mineral that can be found in Jade Nodes and Gem Nodes in the Mines (floors 40+), dropped by Blue Slimes and Dwarvish sentries, in Fishing Treasure Chests, or received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star. It can also be obtained from a Gem Bird on Ginger Island during rainy days. Jade may also occasionally be found in a Garbage Can after the player has reached the bottom of the mines.

The Desert Trader in the Calico Desert will trade one Staircase in exchange for one Jade on Sunday.

Jade Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [70]. You will then receive the Jade item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [70] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Jade item.
