Give Loom as a gift to build friendship. Each villager reacts differently — pick someone who loves it for the biggest friendship boost. Gifts given on a villager's birthday count 8× — a loved gift jumps from +80 to +640 friendship.

Loom cannot be spawned by naming an animal or your character. The naming cheat only reads plain numeric item codes, and this item's code is [(BC)17] — inside a name the game ignores it completely, with no error and no item.

Spawn Using the Chat Cheat

Enable chat cheats on your save to get Loom, then open the in-game chat. That unlocks the /debug commands built into Stardew Valley 1.6.9 — no mods required.

Run /debug iq ALL_ITEMS (BC) to open the item browser for this type, then left-click Loom to drop it straight into your backpack.
