Lobster Information

The Lobster is a fish that can be caught using a Crab Pot in any saltwater body of water. It can also randomly be found at the Traveling Cart for 360–1,000g. Like all fish caught from the crab pot, it cannot be eaten unless it is used in a Cooking recipe. The Statue Of Endless Fortune produces one Lobster per year on Elliott's birthday, Fall 5.

Lobster (Crab Pot)

Lobster is caught with a Crab Pot placed in ocean water. It has no season or time restriction — works as long as the pot is baited and the player has Fishing skills unlocked.

Sells for 120g.

Lobster Cheat Help

Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.

Spawn Using Animal Name

To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [715]. You will then receive the Lobster item.

Spawn Using Character Name

Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.

However, if you opt for this method, name your character [715] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Lobster item.
