Oyster Information
The Oyster is a fish that can be caught using a Crab Pot in any saltwater body of water. It can also be foraged from the Beach or randomly found at the Traveling Cart for 120–1,000g. Like all fish caught from the crab pot, it cannot be eaten unless it is used in a Cooking recipe.
Oyster (Crab Pot)
Oyster is caught with a Crab Pot placed in ocean water. It has no season or time restriction — works as long as the pot is baited and the player has Fishing skills unlocked.
Sells for 40g.
Where to Forage Oyster
Oyster spawns on the ground as forage in these areas — the chance is its weight in that map's daily forage roll.

Oyster Cheat Help
Item spawning in Stardew Valley isn't accomplished through typical commands. Instead, it involves a cheat method where you name your character, or an animal, with the item code of the desired item, enclosed in square brackets [ and ]. Include the brackets when naming.
Spawn Using Animal Name
To spawn this item, buy an animal (we recommend a chicken because it is the cheapest) from Marnie's Ranch, name it [723]. You will then receive the Oyster item.
Spawn Using Character Name
Since you can only set your character's name once at the game's inception, we advise using the animal naming method.
However, if you opt for this method, name your character [723] while creating your save file. When you converse with any villager who mentions your name in their dialogue, like Gus at the Stardrop Saloon, you'll receive the Oyster item.
