Every Stardrop in Stardew Valley and How to Get Them

The Stardrop is the only item in Stardew Valley that permanently raises your maximum energy. There are seven of them in the base game, each earned by meeting a specific milestone. Stardrops themselves are technically spawnable — ID 434 — but using them this way bypasses the energy bonus entirely; the game only grants the energy bump when the Stardrop is received through its intended event. That means the naming cheat won't actually help you with Stardrops directly.

What it can help with is the upstream conditions that unlock several of them. Most of the Stardrop events are gated on items, money, or quests that the spawn cheat can shortcut.

The seven Stardrop sources

• Stardew Valley Fair Stardrop: 2,000 star tokens at the Fall 16 fair.
• Mine Stardrop: reward in the chest on floor 100 of the regular Mines.
• Krobus Stardrop: purchased from Krobus in the Sewer for 20,000g.
• Old Master Cannoli Stardrop: give a Sweet Gem Berry to the statue in the Secret Woods.
• Master Angler Stardrop: caught every fish in the game.
• Museum Stardrop: reward from Gunther for completing the entire museum collection.
• Spouse Stardrop: reach 12.5/12 hearts with your spouse after marriage.

Cannoli Stardrop: spawn one Sweet Gem Berry

The Old Master Cannoli statue inside the Secret Woods will accept a single Sweet Gem Berry (ID 417) and hand back a Stardrop. The natural path is to plant a Rare Seed (347) in fall — the seed costs 1,000g from the Traveling Cart, and the crop takes 24 days to grow. Spawning either the seed or the finished berry unlocks the Stardrop without committing a full fall season to cultivation.

Recommended bracket: [347]. Plant the seed in fall, harvest the berry, hand it to the statue.

Museum Stardrop: spawn the missing artifacts

Gunther rewards a Stardrop after the museum's full 95 donations. Most players stall around the rarest artifacts — Prehistoric Skull (581), Strange Doll (126), and the geode-only minerals. The full list of museum-eligible items is in the museum artifact reference and the gem and mineral reference. Spawn the IDs you're missing, donate, and Gunther mails the Stardrop the next morning.

Master Angler Stardrop: spawn the legendaries

Master Angler requires catching every fish in the base game. The five legendary fish (Crimsonfish, Angler, Legend, Mutant Carp, Glacierfish) are the hardest gates — they each spawn under narrow conditions and disappear if you fail to land them. Spawning the legendaries doesn't count toward the catch requirement, but it does fill the bundle slot they share, freeing you to focus on the natural catches.

Krobus Stardrop: spawn the gold

Krobus sells the cheapest Stardrop at 20,000g — but it's still a meaningful gate in an early save. The naming cheat doesn't spawn gold directly, but you can spawn high-sell items to bridge the gap: a single Prismatic Shard (74) sells for 2,000g, and a stack of Ancient Fruit (454) kegged into wine clears the threshold within a season.

Mine Stardrop: just descend

The Mine Stardrop is in the chest on floor 100 of the regular Mines, and there's no spawn shortcut — you have to physically reach the floor. Spawning items can soften the climb though: a few Bombs (287) clear stone layers fast, and Life Elixirs (773) heal full health between encounters.

Spouse Stardrop and Fair Stardrop

These two Stardrops resist any spawn-based shortcut. The Spouse Stardrop needs a marriage and a slow friendship build — the cheat can't compress in-game days. The Fair Stardrop needs 2,000 star tokens, and tokens aren't a regular item. Both have to be earned through normal play.

Of the seven Stardrops, four (Cannoli, Museum, Master Angler, Krobus) can be meaningfully accelerated with the naming cheat. Three (Mine, Spouse, Fair) still need real playtime. Hit the four accelerated ones first; the other three tend to arrive naturally before you notice.
